The planning of the wedding had been left to you, as Lukas knew nothing of how to plan a wedding at all. You had moved in with Lukas as that evening, you were sitting with your lover on the chairs placed on the large open balcony in his room. A knock came on the door. "A letter from Sir Emil in Iceland has arrived, Your Highness." The letter was brought to Lukas's hand as he opened it, with you leaning over to peek.

"To Lukas,

"I've got the news even in Iceland.  The crowd is cheering for you. You're finally getting married; and with (Name) too! I'm feeling a bit jealous, yet happy for you. Jealous because I used to have feelings for her, and happy because someone finally wants you and your haughty personalities. I'll be back soon, Father has ordered me to. I'll see you soon.

Signed,
Emil."

"Emil sure has lots to say," you giggled. "I can't wait to see him again."

"When you say that, it makes me jealous." Lukas's smile turned stoic.

"Well, I'm about to be yours in a month-"

"And no one can take you away from me." Lukas took your hand and led you to his bed, sitting you down and falling on top of you - hands trapping you.

"Lukas..." Your eyes looked into his, as his eyes grew larger - face leaning into yours, lips touching.

...

Sunlight shone into the room as you woke up, Lukas sleeping peacefully beside you.

Lukas' eyes were still closed as you trace your fingertips to his gorgeous face, with him groaning and tossing.

Finally wrapping the nightgown around your body, you let yourself into the bathroom on the other side of the large bedroom.

You had let yourself fall into a black dress as you brush your hair.

A knock came on the door as you hurriedly went to go get it, cautiously not wanting to wake the prince.

The King's face peeked through the room as you opened a small bits of the door.

"G-Good morning, sir." You slightly bowed.

"No need for the formality, my dear. Emil is arriving this early afternoon, he said he wants to be back as soon as possible from Iceland to aid you in your wedding."

"Right," Lukas placed one of his hand on your waist as he appeared behind you. "Come to think of it - Emil can help with quite a load of things." Lukas smirked. "Good morning, Your Majesty."

"And to you, Lukas. Well, I'll be heading now. Please do not forget about your dear brother."

It was until early afternoon had you seen Emil again. He had grown to a handsome young man in a brown jacket and white boots.

"Heh! It's been some time since I've been here!" His pet was quite annoying; and loud. Mr. What? Puffin?

"Quiet down, you." Emil spotted you in the corner as he came through the people, ignoring the fact that he was ushering people aside.

He wanted to see yo-. Emil quickly shook away the thought as he saw you wave.

"(Name)!" Emil brought your light body into his embrace as he twirled you around. "You've grown so beautiful."

"I could say that about you, Emil! You've grown so handsome!" Emil smiled.

"Where are the others?" It didn't take another minute before he spotted his father and his brother. "Your Majesty," Emil bowed. "Lukas." Emil turned to Lukas, patting him on the shoulder.

They never called each other brothers, none of them bothered to do so. Yet deep inside, the bond between the two was unbreakable. The two were already talking about old times, as if they hadn't seen each other in a decade.

Lukas look to you, seeing you smiling all to yourself. "What's funny, (Name)? Maybe you would like to share with us as well, yes?"

"You two are talking endlessly, it's funny." You let out a giggle as the two look to each other, clueless.

Though it only lasted a while before they resumed talking once more.

...

"If time waits for no one, then it surely has waited for me."

"Your Majesty, the poison has been put into Ms. (Name)'s wine." The servant lowered his head.

"Good," the King grinned widely. "I will not, and never allow Lukas, my son to marry a woman such as a commoner. She will destroy the royal blood!"

"Though you may say fair marriage, there was never such a thing in this kingdom. Everyone fights for reign, for throne, for freedom. For everything possible."

The King would do anything to keep his throne and the royal blood, for the family. If it means eliminating everything in his path.
