College was so hard!

You stalked your way to the library downtown as you dropped your bags down on an empty chair by the rows of computers.

With your project in mind, you walked down aisles of books before finding the correct section and the right textbook.

"(Name)-aru!" Aru?

You instantly turned around to face a smiling Yao, who was wiping his sweat away with his long sleeve. "Ni hao-aru!"

"Hey Yao. What's up?"

"I'm here looking for a book!" His brown eyes looked down on the book you were holding and laughed. "That's the one-aru!"

"You can use it first if you want." You smiled at Yao, who only shook his head.

"I have a better idea!" Yao dragged you to his seat, which was exactly next to yours. "Why don't we use it together-aru?"

"Sounds great."

This was like a red string of fate that tied you and Yao together.

Because after that library trip, Yao asked you on a date.

And it wasn't just one.

It was several dates.

Romantic dinners, simple cooking, moon watching - there was nothing that you two didn't experience.

"(Name)?" Yao called suddenly from the kitchen. "Wo ai ni."

You didn't understand Chinese, but you knew what that meant. You hear it all the time from the couples next door, whom were also Chinese.

"I love you too, Yao."

You felt your heart beat faster as Yao knelt down on one knee.

"Ni yuanyi jia gei wo ma?" Yao smiled. "Will you marry me-aru?"

You didn't speak, and only nodded madly as he slipped the ring onto your finger. Yao stood up as you hugged him. It stuttered him for a moment, but he returned the hug on the equivalent.

"I love you, I love you, I love you..." Yao nodded as you repeated yourself endlessly. You only did it again when Yao couldn't take it anymore. He placed his lips on yours.

"Me too."
