"Oh, fair maiden. Please take my hand in marriage. I know thou is tied with an engagement, but nothing can stop our love. We will run away together, and spend the rest of our lives out in the wilds."
"I cannot do such deed. Though I wish to surely spend the rest of my life with you... I can-"
"Yes you can, my lady." His hand an outreach, Juliet climbed for the impossible.
The Englishman walked in with a cup in hand. "What are you reading this late at night?"
"The Almost Abridged Version of Romeo and Juliet."
"By Shakespeare?"
You nodded. "His Romeo and Juliet could be called as one of the most famous work of all times." Your eyes adverted to the book again.
"Juliet! Why are you doing this!?"
Juliet didn't speak for she was dead, corpse as cold as stone. Romeo took the poison, drinking it - kissing Juliet one last time, as if it was their parting kiss.
A while later, Juliet awake to find Romeo dead.
"I do not wish to live if it's a world without you, Romeo." Juliet pierced the knife within her, killing herself to be with her one and only lover in Heaven, in Hell and in all just."
"Arthur?" He hummed. "Can we reenact that scene?" Arthur cocked up his brows. "Please? I'll make you tea for a month."
"Fine." You dragged him to the living room. You regained your posture, giggling one last time before Arthur shook his head. "Juliet! Why are you doing this!?"
"Can we replace our names within it?"
"If that's what you wish." You merely shook your head. "Let's try again, shall we?"
He was such a gentleman, it was unbelievable how capable he was of being so nice to you.
"(Name)! Why are you doing this!?" The vibes of his first line already shook you to no extent. You were dead on the floor with him speaking the monologue, but it was enough to feel the force of his tone.
You didn't speak as you lay on the floor, with Arthur then picking you up, tilting your head upward. "(Name)..." His tone changed to a more generous voice. "You're forever mine. I've never needed and loved anyone else more than I love you."
This wasn't in the play...
Arthur's lips landed on yours a moment later. The Englishman then fell onto the floor.
"I do not wish to live if it's a world without you, Arthur." You pretended to pierced the knife within your soul, and fell onto the floor.
You sit up to shake Arthur, signaling it was over.
"Come on! We're done! That was good, Arth-"
He wasn't waking.
You shook him one more time. "A-Arthur?"
No answer. You rushed to call the ambulance, giving them your information in a hurry and full of panic.
Fright, and nervousness ran through your veins as the ambulance came to take Arthur away.
...
You land a hand on Arthur's face, stroking his cheeks - absentmindedly admiring his looks.
You repeated a line from the play. "I do not wish to live if it's a world without you, Arthur." You smiled through your pain as you repeated what he said, "You're forever mine. I've never needed and loved anyone else more than I love you."
"I love you, (Name)."
You watch as his green eyes slowly crack open. "Arthur?"
"I can't live without you either," Arthur let out a small smile. "Stay with me forever." Arthur pulled you close to him. "I love you."
"I love you too." And Arthur holds you just for a little longer as the doctor enters.
"Mr. Kirkland, nothing is wrong with you. Just take enough rest. You've been working too much, I presume." Arthur nodded.
"You need to rest, Arthur." You shook your head as you stood up.
"Where are you going?"
"Water."
"Don't leave me." Arthur pulls you into his arm again, smiling and patting you on the head.
I do not intend to live in a world without you in it.

I Will Wait [England x Reader]
Summer had officially begun, and were you ever happy that it had. The day before you had just written your final exams for your classes for eleventh year. You wouldn't get the results until mid July, but at the present time it was the least of your worries.
At the exact moment you were on your way to meet your childhood friend Arthur at the park. You've know the Brit ever since the two of you could talk, and you've been close ever since. You've been through various tribulations with him and you've been there for each other through it all.
When he called you earlier, he urgently stated that you needed to meet him at the park. Of course you w

Denial: England x Dead!Reader
Denial is a funny thing. It can twist up the past, crumple things up, and alter your perspective. Arthur did really see the other car coming towards him.
He did hear your scream pierce his ears.
He did see you cover your bulging stomach quickly, a small attempt to protect his and your unborn child. Squinting your once beautiful (e/c) eyes in expectation, you braced for impact.
And he saw the bright crimson blood splatter wildly against the windshield before it shattered.
Arthur could see all the beer bottles left shattered around the car as well. As he saw that, he vomited, the retching inspiring gut wrenching pain in his side.

"Aaaaaaannnnnnnnd TOUCHDOWN!!"
The sandy blonde American rose up from his seat, the bowl filled with popcorn which was resting on his lap a few seconds earlier came flying in the air, showering a certain [Name] with its content.
"WOOT!!" he screamed "Did ya see that, [Name]? Second touch down today!! AWESOME!!"
"Yeah, Alfie." you replied in an annoyed tone, picking the popcorn from your [hair colour] hair. "Can you be careful, next time?" you added, popping some of the buttery goodness in your mouth and crushing it with a solid "crunch".
"I was: that's why you don't have chicken wings instead."
You sighed,

I do not own England, nor Hetalia. It belongs to Himaruya Hidekaz. Romeo and Juliet is of Shakespeare and this story belongs to me.
Comments are welcomed. No bashing please.
