Literature Text

Time passed and passed as years flew by.

You pay attention to the rally of the news as they speak about Lukas, and his succession to the throne in five years when his father will have to step off, and hand over the crown to his older son. They speak about the issue of marriage for Lukas, and that the perfect girl for him would be a rich Princess from another kingdom, or even their Icelandic cousins would be a good nomination.

Your heart grew dull and pain.

It was as if something had torn you apart. Into millions of pieces. Into billions of pieces. Into trillions of pieces.

It was a feeling you couldn't comprehend. You should feel happy for the Nordic Prince, but you didn't.

At the least, you felt a slight hint of jealousy and unhappiness sparking in your soul. You knew you wouldn't be able to see him again; that you knew way too well. It was all to your passed father that you had a chance to meet the royalties in the Kingdom.

That was all gone and done.

Your chance was gone and done.

You would soon see Lukas marry another woman of his own kind - a beautiful Princess, fit for a handsome Prince such as himself. And they would walk together in a grand cathedral and wed, promising nothing but their heart and soul to each other for the rest of their life.

The world was too harsh to you.

The two Queens had also been tossed into the dungeon. No one knew what happened, how it happened, and why it happened. The King disposed of the Queens, and used the time while the princes were away to his best advantage.

You only brought these wonders of the worlds to your bed, where you slept on the thoughts - not paying any more attention.

...

The older Prince were making the annual entrances to the foreign cities and villages.

Yours was one of their destination.

Women were dressing up, making themselves pretty with powder and corsets.

Mothers say that the Prince was here to search for a Princess, causing a big deal in the village.

"Presenting His Highness Prince Lukas!"

Finally. After all these years.

Men, women, children; even yourself bowed to him.

"Please, there is no need to be so formal." His voice was smoothing, calm, tranquil... His face was emotionless as always, his hair grew a little longer to the purest mixture of the colors of silver and blonde.

He was perfect.

Lukas looked to you, his emotions still stoic and unreadable.

People began crowding around him as you begin walking back to your house, putting Lukas aside - knowing chance was never going to h-

"Excuse me," Lukas's soft voice spoke as his hand take hold of your wrist as your head swiftly turn around. "Are you... (Name) (Last name)?" You nodded.

"Y-You still remember me?" Your voice shattered.

"Of course," Lukas slightly smiled. "Why wouldn't I?"

"Well, you're busy everyday. It's hard to even go see you, let alone that - the castle doesn't let anyone in. Especially low peasants like us."

"Don't call yourself that. I want to invite you into the castle; will you come with me?" Lukas offered his hand to you.

Your hand reached for his, but stopped midway.

"I-I-No... I can't."

Lukas's eyes grew. "Why not?"

"We're from the different world."

"(Name), I knew you since we were younger. I don't see the point." Lukas was growing impatient, though he vowed to win the argument.

"That may be true, but I am a small peasant; and you are a Prince. A Prince of the Nordic seas."

"I would dump all of that," Lukas remarked. "For you."

Your eyes widen as you fell onto your knees. "Your Highness, I'm a peasant - there's no need to do that for me."

"Then you must come with me to the castle, yes?" Lukas knew he had won the fight. Lukas offered his hand again as you put yours on his with a small tint of hesitation.

He led you to the horse carriage as the crowd followed, mumbling words like 'That's (Name)!' and so forth. The carriage began to roll across towns after towns.

"(Name), I've missed you." Lukas suddenly state.

You wanted to remark the same, but only nodded. "Honestly, this annual visiting trip was for me to find you. I wanted to know where you were..." The Nordic Prince turned his head the other way, trying to hide his blush from his stoic face.

That made you happy.

"I want to ask you something," Lukas's gorgeous eyes locked on to yours like a prisoner, drowning you and paralyzing you. "Do you like me?"

You didn't know how to answer. Of course you knew you did, but he had to marry a Princess.

"We're here, Sir." The horseman only said as Lukas opened the door to let himself and you off. Lukas led you up the stairs of the castle where the King was now seated.

"Who might this fair lady be, Lukas?" The King couldn't recognize.

"It's (Name), father." The King nodded in understanding. "I wish to take her hand in marriage."

"WHAT?!" The King's shout was heard throughout the castle as he fell back to his throne.

"L-Lukas! Don't say such meaningful thing to someone like me..." You tugged at his sleeve. Lukas's eyes stood firm to his father.

"My point still stands. Rather than having harems of women, I wish to only have one. Rather than to having harems of women and locking them up, I only wish to love my woman forever. I want to take (Name)'s hand in marriage rather than some cousin from Iceland, or some foreign Princess that doesn't even speak the Norwegian language. I'll be willing to give up my crown for her. Let my brother rule then."

Lukas was serious. Anyone could see it. He turned to you and knelt down on one. "Will you marry me, (Name)? And let me love you forever?" You shook your head.

"I don't want to give up the throne for me. Please, Lukas. Please..." You fell onto your knees as Lukas placed your head on his shoulder, supporting you.

"That is enough!" The King slammed on his chair. The King's eyes softened as he stood, turning to walk his way. "Do as you wish, Lukas."

Lukas's mouth curved up to a smile. "Will you marry me, (Name)?"

You nodded as you threw your arms around him.

The King only frowned as he vow to get rid of you - for once and for good.

It was time to discover the first world.

The King's evil scheme was the first world to be seen by your own naked eyes.
Summary:

"Born into a poor family in the northern area of the Norwegian nation, you were the daughter of a poor shoemaker for the royal Kingdom. The Kingdom was known for its poor pay, high taxes and beautiful princes. The King's harem consisted of only five women, whom three could not give birth. The other two had one son of each. They named them Lukas and Emil. The King wanted the sons to explore the world; or at least the regions of their fairly large country - but the Queen objected. The King immediately threw the two consorts into the old dungeon, where they would slowly fade within the people's memories. With only the King left to rule, the brothers grew under the King's orders of exploration. The King had ordered the two princes to live at different location, separating them at an early age. With Lukas staying in Norway, Emil had gone to Iceland. The two of many worlds collide to alter fate; how would you change under the roaring chaos as worlds begin to shift and fight for reign?"

I think I'm... quite pleased by where this is going.
